From "M" to "Z" and all scales in between, Kappler offers Precision cut Basswood lumber and Pine railroad ties to +/- 0.003" tolerances. Basswood sheets are available either plain or scribed. With over 5000 items ranging from scale to fractional or metric you are sure to find what you are looking for. For all other sizes we offer custom milling/cutting to your specifications.

Our Basswood stripwood is available in a variety of scales from 1x1 up to 12x24 in either 12" or 24" lengths.
Fractional sizes range from 0.010" x 0.020" up to 1/2" x 1"
Railroad ties are available in a variety of scales for standard gauge(7x9), narrow gauge(5x7), D&RGW(6x8), bridge/trestle(8x8) and trammer ties(5x5 & 4x4). Available in both standard and low profile and also bulk packs of 24" lengths.
Sheet goods are available in 3 1/2" and 6" widths x 0.010"to 1/2" thick and 12" & 24" lengths.
Custom cutting range is from 0.008" to 2" thickness and 0.010" to 6" width and up to 6' lengths.
The materials we offer are Basswood, Pine, Cedar, Balsa and Redwood.
